My story

Meet Sun Bear! Sun Bear joins our rescue from Pinal County Animal Care & Control. He was surrendered to the shelter back in February for no fault of his own. Sun Bear was quickly getting overlooked and needed a chance for someone to see how amazing he is. Sun Bear is a total ray of sunshine. His perfect smile and goofy personality are always guaranteed to put a smile on your face. Sun Bear is a young Shepherd with playful and spunky energy. He loves to run around the yard, play with toys and spend time in the splash pad. Sun Bear is eager to learn, continuing to fine tune his leash manners and basic commands. He has notes of being crate-trained in his previous home. Sun Bear is sweet and friendly when meeting new people. He is known to be friendly with kids of various ages that respect boundaries, as well as with men and women. Sun Bear is dog-friendly with proper introductions, including littles! Sun Bear is ready for a home to call his own! He will thrive in an active home that can provide structure, routine and continued basic training.
