My story

True to his name, Wolf carries himself with quiet strength, loyalty, and a gentle kind of royalty that makes everyone stop and notice him. This stunning German Shepherd came all the way from Korea in search of the forever home he has always deserved.Wolfs story began in uncertainty. He was rescued by a police officer on November 30, 2025, and brought to safety, but because of his size and breed, finding a foster home was not easy. Instead, Wolf spent his days in a small city shelter kennel a stressful and overwhelming environment for such an intelligent and sensitive dog. Tight hallways and confined spaces made him uneasy around other dogs, but once given space to properly decompress and interact outdoors, Wolf showed everyone his true self: calm, receptive, and social. And more than anything? Wolf loves people. He absolutely lights up when he receives attention from his humans. He listens closely, looks deep into your eyes, and carries himself with such grace and wisdom.Theres something incredibly special about him the kind of dog who forms deep bonds and makes you feel safe just by being near him. Wolf is the perfect balance of strong and gentle. He has a medium energy level, enjoys walks and car rides, and is happiest simply being included in everyday life. He walks well on leash, rides beautifully in the car, and is described as affectionate, loyal, and eager to connect. Hes good with men, women, children, and other dogs, though he would also be perfectly happy as the only dog soaking up all the love.Wolf is currently working on crate training and is mostly housetrained, already preferring to do his business outside. He is not destructive, not food aggressive, and only occasionally barks when excited. This handsome boy has also overcome another obstacle with quiet resilience. When rescued, Wolf tested positive for heartworm and began treatment in January 2026. By late spring, we expect him to test negative and finally leave this chapter behind for good. After everything he has endured, Wolf deserves more than just rescue he deserves belonging. A home with a yard, a soft place to rest, and a family who will look into his soulful eyes and promise him he never has to be abandoned or forgotten again. Wolf has survived. Now its time for him to truly live.
