QUICK FACTS Name: Yeoreum Age: 8 years old Gender: Male (Neutered) Breed: White Terrier mix Color: White Weight: 17kg / 37.4lbs Microchipped, Fully Vaccinated Up to Date, Dewormed   MY RESCUE STORY My life changed when the animal café where I was living closed down. When the doors shut, I was sadly left behind with nowhere to go and no one to care for me. Thankfully, rescuers stepped in before it was too late and gave me a second chance at life. Because of their kindness, I'm now safe, cared for, and ready to begin a new chapter. Now, all that's missing is a forever family to love me, cherish me, and give me the happy ending every dog deserves.   MY HEALTH All vaccinations up-to-date Healthy with no known health issues   MY PERSONALITY Despite my neglected past, I'm still incredibly trusting of people and truly enjoy human companionship. I love being around my people and am always happy to soak up affection, especially when it comes in the form of butt scratches! Going for walks is one of my favorite activities, and I approach life with enthusiasm and curiosity. I have a big appetite, which makes me highly motivated to learn and eager to participate in training sessions. I'm a smart, energetic boy who enjoys staying engaged and being part of the action. With my loving personality, intelligence, and zest for life, I'm ready to bring plenty of joy, laughter, and companionship to a forever family of my own.   MY SOCIAL SKILLS · With People: I'm super friendly with people and love receiving pets, affection, and attention. Being close to my humans is one of my favorite things, and I'm always happy to make new friends. During my profile photoshoot, I happily soaked up all the pets, attention, and treats that came my way! I have a warm, social personality and genuinely enjoy interacting with people. I also allow myself to be picked up and handled with ease, making me an affectionate and easygoing companion who's always ready for a cuddle or a little extra love. · With Dogs: I enjoy greeting new dog friends, but I'm not the type to jump straight into playtime. I'm a bit more reserved and prefer to take my time getting to know other dogs before deciding if I want to interact more. Sometimes I'm just as happy doing my own thing and observing from a distance. While I'm generally polite and friendly with other dogs, I'm not afraid to stand my ground if another dog is being overly pushy or rude. Because of this, I do best with slower, thoughtful introductions when meeting new dogs for the first time. Once I'm comfortable, I can coexist well and build positive relationships with my dog friends. · With Cats: My reaction to cats is unknown. A cat test can be arranged upon request to ensure the best fit. During walks, I don’t pay much attention to cats and focus on my handler.   ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY I have a moderate energy level. I enjoy spending time outdoors, exploring, and having fun, but once I’ve had my activity and excitement, I’m more than happy to come inside and relax comfortably indoors.   TRAINING & HABITS I love going for walks and enjoy exploring the world by my person's side. I follow my handler's lead nicely and am a pleasant walking companion. I do not guard my food from people, although I can be a little sensitive when other dogs are nearby during mealtimes. I may bark occasionally to express myself, but I settle down quickly and am generally well-mannered. I know how to rest calmly in my kennel and relax when it's time to unwind. Car rides can make me a little nervous, so I'll need some extra reassurance, patience, and snuggles to help me feel safe and comfortable. In new environments, I may mark at first as I adjust to my surroundings, but with a consistent routine and guidance, I can settle in well and feel right at home.   MY IDEAL HOME I’m searching for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself. Despite the challenges I've faced in life, I continue to greet the world with kindness and an open heart. I enjoy being close to my people, going for walks, and sharing quiet moments together. While I may need a little reassurance in new situations, I'm always trying my best and continue to grow more confident every day. The people who know me best see so much potential in me.
