My story

Before her life with us began, Cossette’s world was filled with pain, neglect, and silence. Found alone and very ill at the county shelter, this frail 4-year-old French Bulldog was battling more suffering than any living soul should ever endure. Severe emaciation, painful skin and ear infections, intestinal parasites, and severe cherry eyes left her exhausted and hurting, waiting in the dark for a kindness that felt like it might never come.Everything changed the day Carrie On Rescue pulled her into safety. Thanks to an incredible medical grant from PACC911, Cossette received the urgent, top-tier veterinary care she so desperately needed. Wrapped in the warmth and comfort of a loving foster home, her true spirit began to bloom. Today, she has gained 5 crucial pounds (weighing 20 pounds) and is thriving—fully restored, healthy, spayed, microchipped, licensed, up-to-date on all vaccines (including rabies), and completely healed.Despite the deep scars of her past, Cossette harbors zero bitterness. She has emerged as an absolute dream dog—the most gentle, quiet, and loving soul you could ever meet. She greets every single person with pure affection and gets along wonderfully with other dogs. Housetrained, crate-trained, and endlessly sweet, Cossette simply wants to be near you and share the devotion she held onto through her darkest days.Cossette has done her part; now she is ready for her forever home.Adoption & Care Details:Location: Arizona adoptions onlyAdoption Fee: $400 (helps offset a fraction of her extensive medical care)Home Requirements: Must have a home with a safely fenced yard.
