My story

Haru is a sweet, handsome Jindo mix from Korea who has been given a second chance at the loving home he deserves. Haru's story began when he was abandoned as a puppy. Thankfully, he was rescued and adopted into a home where he knew the love of a family. Sadly, his happiness was short-lived when his owner passed away from cancer. Through no fault of his own, Haru was returned to the shelter. With the shelter overcrowded and Haru at immediate risk of euthanasia, his life was once again hanging in the balance. Thankfully, our rescue stepped in just in time and gave Haru the chance he so desperately needed. Now, Haru is safe and waiting for his forever family. Haru is a beautiful brown-and-white boy with a gentle personality and an easygoing nature. He is very easy to handle and has so many wonderful qualities that make him an excellent companion. Haru has a medium-to-high energy level, so he would love a family who enjoys walks, outdoor time, and keeping him engaged. A yard is preferred, and while living with another dog is not required, it would be wonderful for Haru. He currently lives in Korea with many other dogs and genuinely enjoys their companionship. Haru has not been tested with cats, so a cat-free home or a careful introduction would be recommended. Most of all, Haru is a dog who has already experienced far more loss than any young dog should. He lost his first home through no fault of his own, and he came dangerously close to losing his life simply because there was nowhere safe for him to go.
