PWRESCUE.ORG  Meet Luna & Sadie! ***IMPORTANT!!  (Luna is a pair with Sadie - PLEASE SEE SADIE'S BIO FOR INFORMATION ON HER) This adorable mother-daughter duo is looking for a forever home together!   This sweet pair came to Pathways after their owners were no longer able to care for them. They are doing wonderfully in their foster home and have quickly shown everyone just how special they are.  Luna and Sadie are a wonderful combination — one part sass, one part sweetness, and 100% love. If you're looking for a pair of girls who will keep you laughing, fill your home with love, and become your very best friends, Luna & Sadie may be the mother-daughter duo you've been waiting for! They will need a home with a secure, fenced-in yard where they can safely run and play.  No doggie doors, please! A home with a doggie door will only be considered if there is a secure, covered outdoor enclosure to protect them from potential predators while they are outside. Both girls can be a little unsure of new people in their space and may bark when someone they don't know arrives. Neither has shown any aggression, and both are learning that new people can mean good things — especially when treats are involved! They will need adopters who are willing to give them a little patience and time as they get comfortable. Because both girls can be cautious with new people, their family will need to understand that they may take a little time to warm up. Once they trust you, though, you'll have two very special girls by your side. Both dogs are up to date on vaccinations, spayed and microchipped.  Their adoption fee as a pair is $500.00. Luna (mother)— aka Luna Lou, Lulu, Lu-natic, Louboutin, Lou-Boo & Big Mama! Whatever you call her, one thing is certain: Luna is a BIG personality packed into one very lovable girl!  Luna is a 6-1/2 year old, 16 pound Bichon/Poodle mix who is big, bouncy, and full of personality. She has the cutest bunny-hop run, loves doing her signature “spinnies,” and isn't afraid to let everyone know exactly what she thinks. This girl definitely has opinions — and she's not shy about sharing them! Luna LOVES squeaky toys and can happily chew a Busy Bone into complete nonexistence. She can be a little protective of her special chewy treats, so she is happiest when she can enjoy her stash in peace. And while Luna may be a bossy babe, she is also a total cuddlebug! She will let you know when she wants to be picked up, and if she wants something, you might get a little stomp accompanied by a very determined huff. Yep… Luna has an attitude, and it's absolutely adorable. Luna is hypothyroid and takes medication twice a day, but she makes pill time incredibly easy. Just put her medication in her food dish and she happily eats it right along with her kibble. She has already lost some of her extra weight, and with that weight loss has come even more of her fun-loving spunk! When it comes to grooming, Luna has VERY strong opinions about baths! Consider yourself warned! Thankfully, she is perfectly fine with brushing and trimming and will patiently sit through her grooming. She is also good with nail trims when they are done slowly and gently. And then there's Luna's legendary snore. Seriously… this girl could probably give a chainsaw a run for its money!  Luna is funny, affectionate, spirited, cuddly, and completely unforgettable. She may need some patience when meeting new people, but once she knows you, you'll discover just how much love this big personality has to give.
