Zuko

My story

We got Zuko from High Country Humane when he was only 2 months old. He is now 1 year old and weighs about 65 pounds. Zuko is a high-energy, very strong, and playful dog who would do best with someone who has plenty of space for him to run and play. Zuko is very sweet and affectionate, but he can get overly excited. He is potty trained and crate trained, and he absolutely loves going on car rides. He is very playful and can be a big scaredy-cat when he is in new or unfamiliar situations. Because of his size and energy, his play can sometimes be rough, as he doesn’t always realize how big or strong he is. Zuko is also very vocal, especially when he doesn’t get his way, but it’s one of the things that makes his personality so special. Overall, he is a very good boy with a lot of love and personality to give. He would benefit from someone who has the time, space, patience, and experience to continue working with him and help him learn how to manage his excitement and energy.
