Natia

My story

Meet Natia, a shy 2 year old cat ready to find a new home. She was surrendered to us a few weeks ago so we could help find her a new home. She took being in the shelter pretty hard, and it has been a slow process of wining her over. Natia is terrified here and is usually doing her best to not be seen, hiding under her blankets or behind her litter box or Kitty Kasa. She does not move from the spot she is laying on until she thinks it is safe or we are gone for the day. That is also the only time she will eat or use the litter box. Natia is ready to leave the shelter life behind and settle back into a home setting. She will need a patient adopter that can allow her to decompress and feel safe before she can show her true personality. We are still getting to know her but she has shown us that she is a talkative and sweet girl that loves to be pet once she knows you. She has started to come out of her shell now that she sees other cats so we think she would love to have a feline sibling or two. Natia would do best in a home with no young kids or dogs at this time. Natia did test positive for FIV but it should not affect her quality of life as long as she remains as a strictly indoor cat with a good quality diet. She can still live with other cats after being properly introduced. Her adoption fee is $145 and includes all her vaccines, registered microchip, fecal exam, deworming, FIV/FeLV test, current on her flea/heartworm preventative, and spay.
