Amidst the evolving wildfire situation across Canada, our hearts are with the communities affected by these events. To provide support, the PetSmart Charities of Canada team is continuing to monitor the active wildfire situations unfolding across the country, and connect with local organizations helping pets and people in affected areas. We have already granted $111,927 to support wildfire relief efforts across Canada this year, but the need continues.
We are now accepting Disaster Relief grant applications from animal welfare and human service organizations that are Canadian registered charities, municipalities, or Indigenous communities, with pet-focused programming and are impacted by the wildfires in the affected regions. Organizations can apply through the PetSmart Charities of Canada Disaster Response Grant Portal.
