My story

I’m Bobby, and I arrived at the shelter in early February as an owner surrender. When I first came here, I was understandably shy and unsure of my new surroundings. I still take my time warming up to new people, but every day, I’m working on feeling more secure and showing the sweet cat I truly am. And now, when I get lots of love, I can’t help but drool with joy! For now, I feel most comfortable with my best friend, Stringbean. We met at the shelter, and we’ve been best buds ever since. I like tucking myself behind my bed or litterbox, where I can feel safe and protected. Although I’m not quite ready to be the outgoing, cuddly companion just yet, I know I have a gentle, loving side that will shine through with patience and understanding. My journey may take some time, but I’m worth the wait. If you’re someone who can offer a quiet, calm space and give me the time and patience I need to open up, you might just be the perfect match for me.
