My story

Hi!! My name is Abby. I was rescued from Jefferson County Animal Control along with my 4 kittens. The kittens have all been adopted, but I am still looking for my furever home. I am a very pretty, quiet girl who usually minds her own business. I am very shy and will hide when visitors come over. I spend most of my time on a perch where I can nap in peace. Usually I just watch all the activity, but occasionally I will chase the laser light. My favorite thing to do is to nap on my foster Dad’s lap. I’ll even share his lap with other kitties.I’m not a cuddly cat, but will come to you when I want attention. I get freaked out if you try to pick me up, so you have to wait for me to come to you. I used to be very skittish but have come a long way recently. I will even let you walk up and pet me most of the time now. Just a few months ago I would have run away and hidden.I would probably be happiest being the only cat in the house, but I might consider sharing my humans with another cat if it wasn’t aggressive. I am used to dogs and I don’t really mind them. We just leave each other alone. I have not been around children, but would not do well with them since I am so shy and afraid to be picked up. I might be happiest in a quiet home with an older adult (probably a man) who would love to spoil me and give me a nice comfy lap to sleep on.I will need a special family who is patient with me while I get used to new surroundings. I’m not too adventurous when it comes to new things. But if you give me time I just might be your new lap cat!My adoption fee is $75.00 and includes all testing, spaying, microchipping. I am also up-to-date on shots. If you’d like to meet me, please contact my foster Mom. I don’t go to adoption events because I get too scared there, so we would need to make other arrangements to get acquainted. I’ll be ready when you are!DeniseFoster Mom314.322.5607 - celljdbaisch@att.netWe only adopt to people in the St. Louis METRO area.
