Peeke

My story

Don't let this cute face fool you! This little man can be a handful! He will need a strong leader, to be a solo pet or other dogs larger than him that will not put up with his bratty behavior. Peeke is not good with cats other small animals or children! He shares water bowls and toys just fine with other dogs, but will guard his food bowl. Peeke is crate trained and is very quiet in his crate. He is being fed in his crate without any problems and will not guard an empty food bowl so once the meal is over, its a non-issue. Peeke has a tenancy of picking one person that he really bonds with and has a history of guarding that person and the space around them, like the couch. We have noticed that certain items (such as brooms) he will become aggressive on, when they come to close. We are unsure if he could have been hit with them in a previous home. Peeke really enjoys being outside, with his humans and other dogs to the point we think he may have been an outside dog. He does not like being outside alone. Don't get us wrong, Peeke is a sweet and can be affectionate little man! His silly antics will keep the right person laughing all day long, but he is not safe for a family dog, a home without structure, or discipline.
