My story

Hi Friends! I’m Cherry, a gorgeous (if I may say so myself) 2-year-old Australian Cattle dog mix. I’m spayed, microchipped, current on all shots, crate trained and potty trained. I was rescued by Martina Animal Rescue the day before being put to sleep in the summer of 2018, and I’m so thankful I was given a 2nd chance to show how much love I have to give! I’m a loving, playful, energetic girl and a great companion to have around. I love car rides, chasing balls, and squeaky toys. I love all humans, belly rubs and giving kisses. I would do best with an experienced dog owner who knows how to be the leader to keep up on my training, structure and boundaries. I am able to be friends with dogs with proper introductions and enjoy playing with mellow dogs. I’ve even had the opportunity to be around some pigs and horses. I enjoy training, learning tricks and will do just about anything for some tasty treats. If you are looking for a smart and affectionate friend until the end and would like to make a difference in the life of a rescued soul, I may be the right choice for you. I was completely unsocialized when dumped at the shelter, and I have come a long way since. I’m beautiful, intelligent, athletic and so easy to love!❤️❤️❤️
