My story

Oh darling Jack! What a sweet and jolly soul he is! When Jack first came off the van he was so overwhelmed that he would army crawl instead of walk in an effort to keep himself small and invisible.. ​It's been a few weeks since then and Jack is really coming into his own!! Happy go lucky, playful and incredibly affectionate.. little by little he is letting his guard down while his confidence and true self is coming out! Jack's insecurities are mainly with brand new places and brand new people.. and my big camera lens! Jack truly craves the company of others.. whether it's people or other dogs, he loves to be involved in the action but not the center of attention! He warms up to people pretty quickly, though, and shows his affection with sweet little kisses and tail wags. A new confident walk with head and tail held high has now replaced Jack's crawl! He is learning through new experiences with our guidance each and everyday.. most of the time you'll find him alongside his new buddy Rockford! Hikes to the woods, walks down to the barn and even some cuddle time on the couch. At this point, it's all about building connection and trust with Jack through only positive experiences!
