My story

Hi! My name is Reagan. I am an approximate 3 year old, 30 lb, female terrier mix. I was picked up by Animal Control when I was VERY pregnant! I was so scared and tried really hard NOT to have my babies in the shelter. After being there 5 long days a lady picked me up and told me I never had to worry again. After that I went to my new foster home. My new mom and sister were very sweet but I just did not know if I could trust them. I just was not sure how safe my babies and I were, so I held on a little longer. Mom could tell I was in pain. My new mom and sister sat with me for hours, really most of the night. They gave me treats, cuddles, belly rubs and most importantly love. After 21 hours in my new home I felt safe! So at 3pm on November 20th I was able to relax and start having my puppies. I had 2 boys and 4 girls with the help of my new family. I was a great mom, at least that's what mom says. Once my babies were big enough to be on their own and my milk was gone I went for my vetting. They told me I had heartworms. Ater all I had already been through, the rescue decided to do the slow kill HW treatment. I'm doing great on it. I would prefer to be the only dog, but I don't mind cats. I am a little shy at first but once I trust you I will be your best friend. I am house and crate trained, spayed, heartworm negative, on prevention, UTD on all vaccines and microchipped. I am ready for my forever home!

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Reagan, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
