Zachary the Velcro kitty

My story

Hi there! My name is Zachary, and I'm a handsome, affectionate, loving/ lovable, friendly black domestic medium hair/ Bombay/ Maine Coon mix fella who was born in September 2018. I have the black, shiny, patent-leather coat, copper-penny eyes, and amiable personality of a Bombay cat and the medium hair, fluffy plume of a tail, and gentle disposition of a Maine Coon. Foster Meowmy says that I’m a Velcro kitty because I just want to be with someone all the time! I love attention, and I can’t get enough. (Just watch the attached video, and you can hear me purring in ecstasy while she's petting me.) I’ve also never met another kitty whom I didn’t like. I haven’t met children yet, but I think I'd like them too! I started showing up on Foster Meowmy’s driveway, and I was so friendly that she figured I must belong to someone. But after a month, some of my hair starting falling out from fleas, and she realized I wasn't neutered, had no collar, and wasn't microchipped. She posted about me on Next Door, but no one claimed me, so she brought me inside. By the way, from my being out in the sun and poor nutrition as a stray before I was rescued, I have a brownish cast to what, with time, staying indoors, and healthy groceries, will become a jet-black coat like most Bombays. I’m so excited to be able to have my own human and to stay indoors where it’s safe and flea-free! However, as much as I like it in my foster home, I realize that a home of my very own without a lot of other foster cats would be best for me. I’m hoping you will want to take me home today! Zachary is updated on shots, neutered, dewormed, microchipped, FIV/ FeLV negative, and ready for his indoor-only home. No de-clawing permitted.
