Gumby

My story

Gumby is a 2 y/o boy who was rescued form a shelter south of Houston. At 15 inches tall, Gumby is a skinny boy at 30 pounds. Gumby is a sweetheart. He loves people and loves their attention. He does well in the house with his foster siblings and uses the dog door without problems. Gumby is housebroken and has not had any accidents once he got himself established and learned the house rules! Gumby sleeps on abed or the couch. He will sleep in a crate but much prefers to be in bed with his people. He sleeps soundly through the nights without trips outside or any accidents. Gumby is a counter surfer and will eat anything if you turn your back on him! He seems to levitate to get on the table and kitchen island without need of a step up. He does love toys and a good game of tug of war, so distraction will need to be a part of preparing dinner around this boy! Gumby loves being out in the yard with all the wonderful scents that need following and good things to chew on. He does have a loud bark but doesn’t use it too much. This boy will do best in a home with a dog door that allows him the freedom to be out side often during the day. He is great with kids and needs the attention and love of an active family with kids and other dogs to provide him with the playtime and attention he deserves!
