My story

Name: My name is Hayden. What One Item Would You Take to A Deserted Island: A couch. Wait. I can only take one thing.?? What about a people? Can I take a people and a couch? And what kind of desserts are there, are we talking cheesecakes, pies, donuts, crème brulees, peanut butter bundt cakes? Age/Weight/Breed: I was born under a house around April 1, 2019. I am 33 pounds in July and will still grow to maybe size large, as I am mix of large breeds like a Rottie Weiler and German Shepherd. I have 3 colors on my body. Black, peanutbutter and whipped cream. Now I am thinking if the dessert island has whipped cream for the pies, I think that might be my one item. Favorite Thing: It is tough because I want to say couch. But I also want to say people. So my favorite thing is sitting on the couch with a people. Smack dab together while I nibble on a cow hoof, peanut butter or sausage treat. Temperament: I am a smart boy and generally calm for a pup, I would rather be on the couch than outside. I am learning potty training and people rules. I do enjoy a good romp or two with the other canines, but humans are more my jam. If I can’t be with my people on the couch, I rest by their feet in the kitchen, the office, the bathroom. You go, I go. Capeesh? How Do You Feel About Cats: About the what what? Never heard of them. A cccccah, at, nope, not ringing any bells. Is that like a type of dessert? (Note from Foster Mom: Hayden does not acknowledge the cat’s existence, so he can live peacefully with one.) Favorite Thing: Didn’t we already list favorite thing. No prob, I need to change my answer anyway. I like WATER, splashing in the water dish, catching water from the sprinkler and getting in the tub with Foster Mom every time. Not sure if it due to my love of water or my need to be as close as possible to Foster Mommy, so I guess people is my favorite thing. People in water or on couches. Do you want to be my people? Basics: Hayden - male, DOB 4/1/2019, 33 pounds now and will be large, Rottie/Shepherd mix, good with dogs and cats, tricolor black/tan/white, sweet and very calm for a pup, he will make a great loyal buddy HOW TO ADOPT:  HAYDEN is available for adoption with Saving Grace Dog Rescue of San Antonio.  The adoption fee is $150.00.   An adoption application, home visit and adoption contract are all required.  All dogs are spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations appropriate for their age, microchipped, and wormed for internal and external parasites.  If you would like more information or an adoption application, please email us at sgdrsa@outlook.com. Please note that visual breed identification in rescue dogs is unreliable so for most of our dogs we are only GUESSING at predominant breed or breed mix.
