My story

Meet Trinity, a very sweet, laid-back, and awfully adorable Great Pyrenees! Trinity is believed to be 5-6 years old…years likely lacking in care and attention. Trinity came to us from Kentucky, having been found as a stray. Clearly she had been wandering for a very long time…or perhaps just never experienced a loving caring home and family of her own. Trinity was found terribly filthy and matted, so much so that she could hardly walk. First on the agenda for Trinity was cutting off the huge mats and gunk in her fur….5++ pounds worth! When she joined our group, she received a relaxing bath and puppy cut! And…emerged looking like a puppy and acting like one too! Trinity is a happy, friendly, lovable girl. She’s great with people, dogs and even cats. Trinity is in overall good health but as is typical of larger breeds, she has some hip and joint pain which are being managed by joint supplements and pain meds. Perhaps related to her past, Trinity is afraid of loud noises and is very scared of thunder storms; she hides under the bed. Her favorite activities include hanging out with her human friends and going for short walks. Trinity rides nicely in the car and enjoys relaxing outside in the sun, safe within the fenced yard of her foster home. Trinity is up-to-date on all vaccinations, heartworm negative and on year-round heartworm preventative. She is spayed and microchipped. She takes supplements and pain meds for her joint health and to manager her lingering joint pain. Trinity weighs about 85 lbs.
