Kodi

My story

Precious Kodi is a Sheltie mix who is approximately 8 months old. She currently weighs 25 pounds. Little Kodi was dumped at a local gravel pit in Texas. Luckily, none of the 18 wheelers ran her over as she made her muddy way to their office! The nice people working in the office took her inside and fixed her up with a resting place, food and water, but they couldn't really keep a dog there since everyone leaves to go home at 5:00. They called rescue to help and she was taken into rescue. No one in the area claimed her as their own, so she is now looking for a new family! She is a beautiful little lady and is kind natured, gets along well with people and other dogs. We've seen no behavioral issues. She is alert, attentive and eager to please. She is also crate and leash trained, knows "sit" and "come" and is a fast learner. She loves water and would make a great agility dog! Kodi has been spayed, fully vaccinated and microchipped so she is ready to go! Kodi's adoption fee is $650 (that includes transport to the Hartford area). Kodi is currently in her foster home in Houston, Texas.
