Introducing Beautiful Athena! Who is looking to meet a stunning, reserved, picturesque bundle of love? Meet Athena a 2 year old frolicking Caucasian Mountain Dog. The breed choice is not a breed option so we had to choose the closest match. What can we say? Intelligent, loyal, tenacious and looking for a firm and experienced leader to call her very own. "The Caucasian Shepherd dog is a serious guardian breed and should never be taken lightly. The Caucasian is bold, fearless, self-confident and fierce when a threat is present, but is devoted, kind and endearing to their family." Adopters must have current or past Guardian Breed, Bulldog, Mastiff, Pit Bull, Rottweiler or other power breed experience. Caucasian Mountain Dogs are athletic dogs despite their bulk that thrive on regular exercise. Athena will need to be physically and emotionally stimulated. This girl will need her acquired structure and boundaries to continue in her new home. A strong leader is a must with this Big Ol' Princess! Please be prepared to put in the work. Athena will never leave your side if permitted but needs leadership. Athena is very intelligent and looking to learn more! She is a bit reserved but comes out of her shell when she feels comfortable and secure. She is current on vaccines, spayed, dewormed and microchipped for her safety. Athena will make a GREAT companion and have a nice protective instinct which will be a great asset to the right type of owner or adult home. We are looking for an owner that is committed should behavioral issues that may arise hence why we require prior experience. She is your typical Guardian Breed with a immense amount of love to give. Could that be you? Adoption Fee Applies We pre-screen via email so please tell us a little about your lifestyle, work schedule, how many adults, children or pets are in the household, area you live in, house or apartment, breed experience, etc.... This beautiful girl can not go into a home with young children. Her good looks and charm need to be in an adult only, breed savvy home. We expect this little pony to have a large yard. She now on a diet consisting of premium grain-free kibble and has zero food allergies or skin issues. Guardian Breeds are a lot of work so please make sure you’re ready for the responsibility, all are on board and that everyone in the household is ready for the long term commitment that training, grooming, brushing and exercise a dog like this requires. Should things move forward to a meet & greet/home check situation ALL family members, and adults living at the residence must be present. The meet and greet to not only make sure she gels with you guys but that everyone in the family is on board and equally as enthusiastic. We do not make exceptions to this rule.
