My story

Life throws you curve balls and I'm not sure how to get over the one thrown at me. You see, I was abandoned in the woods with a note attached to my collar saying "I was a good girl but don't take me to the shelter." Thankfully I was found, taken to the shelter and staff and volunteers are working overtime to find me a new home where I will never be abandoned again. My name is Faith and I'm a 3 year old female pit bull that is very sweet. However, I'm not fond of cats and like other dogs but a proper introduction must be made first. I know basic commands and just want to feel part of the family. Due to the policy at the shelter I do need to go to a home with children over the age of 12. All dogs available for adoption are spayed or neutered, receive a DHLPP, deworming, are heartworm tested, given a rabies shot, flea and tick treatment and a dog license. All of this for an adoption fee of $90 - that is less than a Benjamin! Open adoption hours are weekly 11-1 Monday-Friday but after hours appointments can be made if you would like to meet a dog and can't make it during regular office hours.
