My story

***Special Needs*** Hi! My name is Liam and I am the cutest little Mohave Bob ever! A mohave bob is basically a curly haired highland lynx. I was owner surrendered due to having Spina Bifida also known as "manx syndrome" caused by being born without a tail. I am the cutest, spunkiest, feistiest kitten you've ever met. I LOVE to run around, play with toys, and snuggle with my foster mama. I love to play bite fingers and chase after crinkly toys. I have the biggest purr machine ever! My special needs are totally doable! - I require bladder expressions approx 3-4 times a day as needed. This will allow me to stay dry (to avoid urine scald, UTI's etc). I take bladder expressions SUPER easily and stay totally still while you do it. - Because I'm unable to control my bowels, I also take a twice daily laxative in my food and a medication to keep things moving along. I'm doing great on it. - I can wear diapers if you're able to change them very frequently. Staying in a soiled diaper can cause a variety of health concerns. I will still need bladder expressions even with wearing a diaper. If you'd like to meet me or learn more, reach out to the rescue at FFLRescueNetwork@gmail.com You can apply at www.friendsforliferescuenetwork.com/adopt and please be sure to indicate you understand my special needs in the additional comments section. I will be neutered, microchipped, fully vaccinated, dewormed, etc prior to adoption. I've also received xrays, a full blood panel, fecal test/treatment, and was snap tested negative for FIV/FELV

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Liam [Spina Bifida], please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
