Greer is one of 9 purebred Great Dane puppies born in March to a very sweet breeding pair owned by an irresponsible backyard breeder who didn't realize the work and cost involved in raising a litter of Great Dane puppies. After he stopped feeding the family, we got the call to save them; they were emaciated, frightened and in need of lots of TLC. Three months and lots of love, good food and excellent vet care later, these 9 pups are ready to rule the world!! They say Great Danes are gentle giants and Greer fits the bill perfectly! She is the laid back and loving sister of the litter. Greer is in a foster home with smaller puppies and loves playing with them. She will gently paw at them and sometimes even let them jump on her while laying on her back. She is intrigued with the potbelly pig and is patiently waiting for her chance to play in the pig pen with him! She loves riding in the car, laying down and sleeping for the ride like a baby. And she is very loyal to her foster family and we know she'll do the same to her Forever family! Greer was born on March 21, making her a little more than 4 months old, she's very healthy and she already weighs 60+ pounds with LOTS more to grow.
