Waffles

My story

This dog is being fostered in Dallas TX and must be adopted within the Dallas, North Central Texas or the southern Oklahoma area. NAME: Waffles GENDER: Male (Neutered) AGE: About 1 – 2 years WEIGHT: About 5.5 pounds DOGS/CATS: Gets along with other dogs, Unknown with cats Meet Waffles. Waffles is an adorable little guy that will make some family very happy! This little 5 1/2 pound young man was surrendered to a shelter along with several other dogs from the same home because they had too many dogs. Waffles was extremely scared and took awhile to warm up to his foster parents. But once that bond was made, it was permanent. We think Waffles is approx 1 – 2 years old and has very short hair with very little shedding. He loves to cuddle and will occasionally play with some toys. He does great with the other dogs in his foster home, both big and small. His tail is extremely short and we don’t know if he was born that way or suffered some accidental tail wound. It only adds to his character. He has some awesome ears too! He is not a big barker. We are still working on Waffles’ housetraining. He still has accidents from time to time. Most of the time he still squats to urinate but not always. The really awesome thing that we have discovered about Waffles is that he absolutely adores young children!!! He gravitates to them. He will probably warm up to the kids before he warms up to the adults in prospective new home. His only real issue that will need to be considered, is if he has something in his mouth that he really wants he can get ugly about it being taken away. More so with something he is chewing on, not toys. So any kids should be old enough for them to understand this. Waffles is being fostered in the DFW (Texas) area.
