My story

A L L I E G I R L Allie is a husky mix that is around five years old. She came to Bark Central LLC because of an owner surrender. The fault was not Allie’s. While the previous owners knew Allie was territorial of her home (such as her yard and her humans), they did not have proper containment for her, such as a fence or a tether. Because of this, Allie got loose and went after the neighbor’s dog. Instead of acquiring training for Allie, they pass her on to us to rehome. Allie is a cuddly, intelligent girl. She loves attention from humans and will wiggle and smile her way into your hearts. She’s great with all people, especially kids, and is fiercely protective of her humans. Allie comes with up-to-date shots, is spayed, and knows her basic commands. She could really excel with a patient, but consistent, owner who will keep up with her training every day and be aware of her needs – such as an enclosed fence, time to adjust to change, and the fact she’s a husky – therefore might sometimes be stubborn or try to outsmart her owner. She will reward all of your efforts with copious amounts of love, snuggles, and progress of her own. As wonderful as Allie is, she comes with a few quirks. While Allie currently playing daily in a group of dogs, we recommend she be the only dog in the home. While she lived with a small Pomeranian before, they had disagreements frequently. She also is a very dominate personality and frequently has trouble getting along with other female dogs and little dogs. She does well in play groups of other large, mostly male dogs, but we recommend this with supervision. We highly recommend NO cats as well. If you are interested in Allie please contact Lucky Paws Rescue luckydog115@gmail.com

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Allie, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
