While we're waiting for better photos of Nala, we didn't want to waste one minute trying to find her a home where she can be a cherished family member as she once was. Nala was purchased by a young couple who wanted to "start a family". Two years later and now with 2 toddlers running around, the couple no longer wanted Nala: dress rehearsal over, no need for the dog anymore. Imagine the heartbreak of a loyal Newfie like Nala, who loved the kids, loved the family. Nala is just as bewildered as we are, and that's why we are searching for just the right Newfie-experienced home where Nala will be cherished her as she deserves. Nala has lived with kids and dogs and loved them all, as any Newfie lover would expect. Sure she knocked down the toddlers with her tail -- she's 140+ pounds of wagging love!! -- but most Newfie lovers expect that too. She's loyal and lovable, a lumbering Landseer of spectaular presence who is the Gentle Giantess anyone would expect. She does need a new home FAST and we will consider only those adopters with Newfie experience. Nala is about 2 years old, she weighs 140+ with more to gain, and she's a very healthy girl.
