My story

Mr. Max was surrendered to us in August 2019 & arrived to Utah from Puerto Rico on August 15th (over 6 months ago!). Max is a sweet, sweet senior with a fabulous underbite just looking for a quiet home & some nice evening cuddles with a new furever family. Max was rescued from the streets of Puerto Rico as a young kid (maybe 1 y/o) & is currently about 10.5 y/o. He would love a kid-free home or a home with older, dog-savvy kids that will respect his old man space, but he is a human LOVER. He enjoys being held like a baby, following you around the house & loves giving kissies! He is dog selective & seems to prefer smaller, submissive dogs over larger ones & likes to eat his meals + treats like a gentleman in peace :-) Max is housebroken (he does not like to potty on grass though & the cold is not his favorite weather!), neutered, UTD on vaccines, microchipped & had a dental cleaning before his freedom flight to Utah.
