My story

Oh my!! What a handsome stud muffin! 😍 Ladies and gents, say hello to Valentino! Valentino is a BIG, striking guy, who admittedly looks a little intimidating in his kennel. Not to worry though, out of his kennel, Valentino is a playful and friendly dog! Valentino came to the shelter when he was found abandoned in an apartment... which is just silly, because who would ever let this handsome hunk go?! Valentino loves toys and loves to play fetch with his human pals. He’s also happy to spend a little “me time” with his toys, working on de-fluffing the fluffy toys and de-squeaking the squeakies! Valentino is strong on leash, but if I can manage to stay upright, so can you lol. The good news is, Valentino is smart (he already knows “sit”) and toy motivated, so he would be a great candidate to work on more tricks and training, including leash work. Valentino is a “go big or go home” kinda guy, and so he was a little “extra” when meeting the other dogs. He did attempt to initiate play and has a rough play style, so please bring your dog from home in and we can make sure everyone’s energies match. You can visit 5 year old Valentino at the MCAC West shelter at 2500 S. 27th Ave., Phx. Hours are 11-6 Mon-Fri and 11-5 Sat & Sun. Valentino's $25 adoption fee includes neuter, rabies certificate and County license. *Valentino does have some masses on his body, and under his chin that will need further evaluation and diagnostics at a full service vet.
