My story

For more pictures go to cnps.petfinder.com then click on ‘view out pets’ and scroll Merlot and Moscato were adopted from us-CNPS as kittens 6 years ago. We got a call that our cats were left in a laundry mat hiding behind the washing machines huddled together! When my husband got there they were scared out of their wits. It’s taken them 2 weeks but they are now coming out for love and attention. These two blue eyed beauties have always had each other in good times and bad. It would be nice to keep them together. Moscato is a handsome white with brown and silver short hair male. He, by far, has the longest tail in the world! Merlot is a beautiful fluffy chocolate cream long hair female. Their adoption fee is $75 each. They have been vetted, spayed and neutered. They are great with everybody and everything! Nice cats, nice calm dogs and nice older kids. PETS ARE FAMILY MEMBERS. PLEASE GET HELP IF YOU CAN NOT KEEP A PET. MAKE THE EFFORT! IT’S A LIFE! Moscato is tall and lanky, Merlot is round and fluffy. He is so sweet and lovable just wants to be where his people. He is patient and not in your face, will wait for your time but will lay next to you to be near. He will vie for your attention but is not annoying. She wants her love and will be in your face, she will walk on you, around you and sleep next to you. She will be out sitting on the pillow like a puffy ornament. She was in love and would nap with the large big calm dogs at her other home. Before the domestic violence occurred and their mom became homeless they were extremely loved and taken care of. When they were kittens Merlot accidently clawed Moscato’s eye during a wrestling match. He went to the vet and they tried some special drops. It’s an old injury, he can see and he is a really happy boy. They both love high places, cats trees and dark cubbies. They are used to a cat fountain to drink from and love it. They love their body massages and will want to be involved in what their people are doing. They have been free fed quality hard food (the first ingredient beginning with meat) and get canned food morning and night. They will love interactive toys like feather on a stick and shoe lace drag as well as the Fling ama String and the $2 ‘cat dancer’ toys. They love kitty treats and they will use a tall cat tree sitting in front of the window with the sun rays beaming in. They will expect to share your bed. Below information is for preventative purposes… Too many male AND female cats are getting the UTI - urinary tract infection and crystals in their urine. It’s a blockage, it’s painful and if ignored will lead to death. Vets say the hard food is at fault because it does not deliver enough liquids. It’s simple to monitor. Just make sure there is at least one good size pee ball in the litter box a day. Kitty fountains are effective to help manage a cats fluids. A diet of good quality canned food pate is better than dry food however there are some dry foods that are pH balanced and help maintain Urinary Tract - UT health like Blue Buffalo, Purina Pro Plan, Purina One UT health, Iams UT health. AVOID FISH! Cats/Kittens are an 18 year commitment! They need a cat tree, laser lite, inside home ADOPT Merlot and/or Moscato FOR LIFE! CNPS text 602-332-6615 email badkittyts@aol.com REMEMBER WHEN YOU ARE ADOPTING A PET YOU ARE ADOPTING A FAMILY MEMBER FOR LIFE! THEY ARE NOT THROW AWAY TOYS! WHEN YOU MOVE YOU TAKE YOUR CHILDREN, YOUR BELONGINGS, YOUR PETS. IT’S A LIFE, A COMMITMENT TO THE END. If you need any type of help with an animal this is a great place to start. Click on the drop box link and get the ‘Help for Dogs and Cats’ info flyer. It will have many resources for you to use to help save that animal's life.
