My story

Please note, we are a Texas based rescue that transports our pups once they are adopted. All of our dogs reside in foster homes, so much is known about their temperament, training level and personality. We know adopting a dog sight unseen can be daunting, so we are happy to share additional videos, photos and even let you Facetime with the pup. We are primarily an equine rescue, but do assist with a small number of dogs annually. We are happy to provide references from previous adopters if needed. Thank you for wanting to adopt! Hello world! My name is Bum Bum, don’t laugh! A two year old child named me, and I adored him, so tolerated this silly moniker. My foster mom calls me Katie girl. I will answer to pretty much anything, just don’t call me late for dinner! Haha. Speaking of dinner, I am very food motivated. Foster mom says a little bit too much, and I could stand to lose a couple of pounds. What can I say, I like to eat! I am a 3 year old sweetheart of a girl. I was found abandoned along a dirt road when I was a small puppy, and raised by a really nice family with 2 smalls children. I loved those kids! Sadly, my family is in the military and had to move to a new place that I couldn’t go. I was very sad to leave them and their young treat dispensers. Foster mom says I am part shepherd and part angel, but I am pretty sure I am shepherd and rottweiler. That sounds much cooler. I am great with all the dogs big and small at foster moms house. I even get along with her cats! I am a very peaceful girl. Namaste. I enjoy my daily walks, and going hiking (all the smells!) but I also like kicking back on the couch and snuggling. I have medium low energy. I am a super special girl that is ready for a family of my own. Could that be you?
