Sir Greyson

My story

Sir Greyson came to us as a stray where a nice person has been feeding him for several years. She became concerned when he developed upper respiratory issues and needed vet care. That is when she reached out to us. Sir Greyson was living a pretty hard life on the streets. He had to deal with lots of different people and experiences. Fortunately he had someone who cared for him and kept him fed. Now that he is indoors, he is slowly adjusting to his new life. He is recovering from the URI and has a big appetite. He can still be a little unsure of things from time to time, but usually adores getting pets and attention. We are letting him settle in at his own pace but feel that he will become a great kitty for that special home! Sir Greyson has been neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. He has been tested for FeLV/FIV. He tested negative for Feline Leukemia, however, he did test positive for FIV. With a high quality grain-free diet, he should live a long and healthy life. (FIV cannot be transmitted to people or dogs; it can only be transmitted to other cats through a deeper bite wound.) Since we have not determined how Greyson would do around other cats yet, he would probably do best in a home by himself or possibly with a cat friendly dog.
