My story

Do you remember the story of how some cats don’t show well in the adoption centre because they don’t like other cats, but really are super sweet? Well, that’s me too! My name is Spicy and I’m only one year old. Do you think I’m pretty? I love my silky, soft fur which you can pet, if you like. I am such a happy girl when I’m out playing by myself. I’m so silly – I love to roll around upside down, begging for attention. I love all the attention I can get. And oh how I love to play! I have lots of energy that I like to burn off running around the adoption centre. I’m super agile – watch me jump up on all the cat trees. Do you want to pick me up? Sure! Go ahead – I don’t mind at all. You know what else I like? Walking on a leash! The volunteers will take me for walks around the store, which I love – it gives me time to myself away from the other cats. Do you have older kids? Maybe they’d like to take me for a walk! I was surrendered to the rescue along with my brother. He got adopted really quickly, which was good for him, but sad for me. I’m still waiting for my forever home. Please don’t judge me on how I act in the store when I’m around other cats. I can’t help it – I just don’t like them. I really hope that you’ll come and visit me and give me chance to show you that as long as I’m the only cat, I’m going to make a great addition to your family.
