My story

Did you follow the story of Chonk the Chunky Shelter Cat and wished you could adopt him and help him slim down? Now is your chance to do that right here in Manhattan, Kansas! Dresden and his brother Valentine were adopted as kittens and then found as strays 10 years later, declawed and very, very fat! They are currently on a very strict diet and exercise program and get weighed every 2 weeks; this will need to be continued by their new families to ensure they can live long, happy lives. Dresden is a sweet boy, who can be a bit vocal. Don't let his age deter you - 10 is the new 5 these days in cats and if Dresden slims down, he should have many years of happily chatting with his family ahead of him! All kitties go to their new homes spayed/neutered, microchipped, current on age-appropriate vaccinations, and tested negative for FIV/FeLV. The adoption fee is $60.
