Pelusa and Rizzo Bonded pair

My story

Rizzo & Pelusa Anyone looking for a couple of fuzzy leg warmers? Pelusa is 10 years old and her partner, Rizzo is 9 years old. They are a bonded pair and will need to be adopted together. This Shih Tzu couple’s favorite pass time is cuddling! Oh, they love snoozing on the couch too. They recently transitioned from the shelter to foster home after waiting since 9/14/19. Both were surrendered to the shelter when their owner got sick and could no longer take care of them. These two will engage in silliness with toys and playful shenanigans with each other. They snuggle each other on their dog bed when resting. They truly love everyone they meet, kids included. This pair will need to be the only dogs in the home because that is what they are used to. They are potty trained and have been well behaved house guests. We know there is someone out there seeking double love and companionship! Pelusa and Rizzo are UTD on vaccinations, microchipped, dewormed, given flea and tick prevention and have been fixed. These furbabies are currently being fostered in Elk Grove Village, IL and would love to find a furever home! It is great because that means we can keep our adoption prices low because we are not paying salaries, but all of our volunteers do have families and "real" jobs in order to support our passion of saving animals from euthanasia often just days or hours before they are scheduled to be put to sleep. That being said, one of us are going to do our best to contact via email or by phone within 48 hours of any inquiry.
