My story

Alaska is 2-3 years old and weighs 43 pounds. She is playful, sociable and friendly with people and other dogs. She’s good with kids. **Alaska is completely deaf; she will need to be taught signs.** Alaska was found as a thin stray with a large gash on her leg and a couple scratches on her face. Her rescuers opened their front door and found her near their doorstep. They searched for weeks for potential owners, but no one claimed her. She was later surrendered to us. She was not claimed, so she was perhaps dumped by her owners once they found out she couldn't hear, Alaska is still one of the friendliest, most loving puppies around!! She knows how to use a doggy door, loves to play and wrestle with other dogs, especially her foster brother Rover (recently adopted). If this listing is still posted, we are still accepting applications. We do not do out-of-state adoptions. We do not hold dogs, please submit your application when you are ready to adopt. Just fill in the blanks and SEND. We commonly receive multiple applications for a single dog. Nevertheless, only one applicant will be invited to meet a dog on Saturday at Petsmart in Yorba Linda between noon and 3 pm OR on a mutually agreeable day, time and place during the week. All adoption fees cover the mandatory and non-negotiable spay/neuter, rabies, microchip, microchip registration, full sets of core vaccinations (rabies and 1 set of distemper/parvo for adults, 4 for puppies) and deworming. Adoption fees vary based on age, breed, size and the costs incurred on the dog's behalf by us i.e. medical, behavioral training, etc.
