Zulu

My story

Note: Zulu is a short 60 pounds. (10 overweight-we are working on getting her slimmed down) Stands approximately beagle size. Who can resist this bright eyed, bushy tailed, black beauty? This girl is quiet, mild mannered, yet spunky. Zulu is just a doll-sweet and affectionate. Everyone who meets Zulu just falls in love. She LOVES hanging out with her human and food (which has led her to getting overweight), doesn’t matter what you are doing just as long as she can get a pet or two in the process. She is very expressive as you always know what she wants (but not by barking). She is well behaved and has excellent house manners. Zulu also enjoys hanging out other dogs. Zulu would make an excellent companion for someone! Zulu is the rescue’s resident helper dog-she helps with socialization of new foster dogs as she is so outgoing and friendly. Funny thing she does: Zulu likes to lay in the sun during the warmer months. What is funny about this is how she lays in the sun…on her back with all four legs straight in the air-like road kill. The first time she did it, her foster mom panicked out thinking something awful had happened to her. Also, when it is dinner time, she does this happy hop that is hysterical to watch. Most endearing qualities: Everything about this precious girl is endearing. Her absolute love of people and her desire to be right with her person, but demanding absolutely nothing in return. Very loving and affectionate. Skills: House trained, Crate trained, Doggie door trained, Sit, Stay, Come, Leave it and does well on a leash. Note: Special needs-nothing right now, but the future may bring some issues. 7 Years Old-60 pounds-Adoption cost $100
