My story

NAME: Queeny Age: 4 Breed: Mexi Mix Sex: Female Weight: 55 lbs Location: Gatineau Adoption fee: $500.00 Spayed/Neutered: Yes Crate trained: Doesn’t do well in crate Leash trained: Yes House trained: Yes Kids/Cats/Dogs: Children over 16 Vacc/worming/flea: UTD on vaccinations✔ Flea/tick, worming✔ Vet checked✔ Microchipped✔ Spayed✔Teeth Whitening✔ Queeny is a sweet, gentle girl who deserves a forever home. She is shy, moderately anxious and uncertain at first, but who wouldn’t be living a lot of her life in the shelter. Queeny thought she had a forever home but was returned due to her anxiety and uncertainty of situations but she has quickly become comfortable living in a home with her foster dad. He has shown her that things are not so scary and to be more confident in herself. She is fully house trained and does require a lot of exercise to assist her in depleting some of her energy. She loves to be close to her person and loves life in general. She likes to run and play and would do well in a house with a large fully fenced back yard so she could have some freedom to have fun or even a home with some acreage that is fenced in some capacity. Queeny requires a calm home, an adopter that can build her confidence and is dedicated to her needs and know that she is not a dog that you can bring everywhere with you, but with training (see below) we know she will be able to do this. Queen needs a confident adopter showing her that she is not in control. She requires slow introductions with other dogs, but when met properly, she will be forever friends. She is not suited for apartment or condo living as she can bark at times. She loves to snuggle and loves to be with her family. She is a loyal dog who just wants someone to understand her needs. Queeny deserves the best home we can find her after so many years at the shelter. She has beautiful piercing eyes that will melt your heart and we guarantee you will fall in love with her as much as we have. We are offering 6 one-on-one training sessions with a certified dog trainer (Canine Clubhouse) in the Ottawa/Gatineau area so you can both form a bond and you can continue to work with her after adoption. All APM Dogs are spayed/neutered UTD on all vaccinations including kennel cough, and microchipped. Queeny is being fostered in the Gatineau area.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Queeny, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
