My story

DOB June 11, 2017. Reggie is a very sweet boy. He truly loves to be pet, is fine with being held for short periods of time and he is happy stretched out on the couch beside his foster mom and he will fall peacefully asleep while being pet. Reggie loves being around people and will follow his foster mom around the house. He will lay for long periods of time while being pet and purrs loudly. Reggie has just begun to play. He loves licking and slurping catnip toys however it may take him a bit more time to truly become comfortable playing with other toys and interactive play. Reggie was rescued from an outdoor cat colony where it is believed he was left to fend for himself by his previous owner. He was beaten up by other cats when he tried to get food and he is now not fond of other cats. Reggie has adapted quickly to being back indoors again where food is plentiful and he has a soft blanket to rest his head on the couch. Reggie would do best as an only pet so he can get all the love and attention he craves. Reggie may be a little shy at first in a new home and may even have a tendency to hide, however once comfy you will see just how loving and affectionate he really can be. Once settled in his new home he may come out to greet visitors as he does in his foster home. Reggie has a lot of love to give and he would do best with a single adopter or a couple who can spend a good amount of time with him. Reggie is now looking for a second chance to find his forever home. Please open your heart and your home and give this boy the forever home he has been patiently waiting for. Reggie is being fostered in Kitchener.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Reggie, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
