My story

Meet Butchie! This 13 year old maltipoo was sadly surrendered due to his elderly owner’s health declining. He’s a shy but sweet guy who is a bit bewildered and missing his home, and looking for a nice quiet place to spend his golden years. He has some kidney disease common for an older guy but is doing well overall and still has a lot of love to give. He’s nervous and paces at first in a new environment until he gets comfortable, and he does seem to be mostly blind although navigated pretty well. He’s looking for a patient hospice home in which to live out whatever time he has left. Email njwoof@cs.com to meet him. We are a small all-volunteer organization focused on rescuing local dogs from area shelters, as well as accepting some surrenders and puppy mill rescues.
