My story

Meet Eliza is a gorgeous 6-year-old pup who’s been waiting far too long—almost a year in shelter care, to be exact. After coming in on July 16, 2024, she’s spent her days quietly hoping someone would see past her nerves and notice her big heart.She was briefly in foster back in 2021, and now—finally—she’s heading back into a home where she can decompress, relax, and truly shine.Eliza is house-trained, well-behaved, and incredibly smart. She may be a little shy with new people, but once you earn her trust, she’s affectionate, loyal, and eager to bond.She’s strong, energetic, and loves her exercise—long walks, zoomies, and playtime are her love language. She a bit rambunctious with other dogs and does best with confident pups her size or larger. She can coexist with smaller dogs, as long as they respect her space.Starting tomorrow, Eliza will be available from her foster home.
