My story

Meet sweet little Bijou! Bijou's mom Roxie was rescued by one of BBMHR's most involved fosters from a cement yard in Riverside. At the time, Roxie was pregnant and 3 weeks later on May 21, 2020 Bijou and her 7 siblings were born. All but 2 survived. You could say that Bijou was lucky enough to be rescued before she was even born! Bijou and her brothers and sisters are all very ENERGETIC AND PLAYFUL and their foster mom is hoping that their eyes will be just like their mom's DEEP GREEN eyes. This litter is very bonded and confident and loves to LOVE! We are posting this kitten in advance of being ready for adoption. Our kittens are not be available for adoption until they undergo a spay and neuter operation. This kitten is being fostered in a private home by our cat rescue. We are a rescue and not a shelter so we do not have a facility. We hold regular weekend adoption events at PetSmart located at 32413 Temecula Parkway, Temecula, CA 92592. Adoption fees for kittens are $95 and $50-75 for adult cats. Please note that this does not cover the full costs of spay & neuter, vaccinations, veterinary visits, medications, food, kitty litter, and more that BBMHR absorbs. Additional donations are appreciated and tax-deductible as per our 501(c)(3) charity status. Due to limited hours or complete closure of veterinary clinics for low-cost spay and neuter surgeries, we have been unable to get animals sterilized as soon as we would prefer. We understand that not all adoptions work out for a variety of reasons such as current pets in the home reject the new cat or kitten, someone may turn out to be allergic, changes to your living situation, etc. We accept all of our animals back and will refund the adoption fee for one month. Please understand that we are all volunteers. We all have the same goal of adopting out available cats and kittens as soon as they are ready to their new “fur-ever” home.   Kittens will be sterilized (spayed/ neutered), vaccinated, microchipped, FIV and FeLV tested, and ready to go to a loving forever home! Adoption Fees are $95 for kittens. If you would like to adopt an adult cat, fees are $50-75 or less depending on the animal.
