Margo, bonded pair

My story

Margo and her companion, Mark, must be adopted together. Both of these dogs belonged to a person who died in June. They were moved to one place and then we rescued them. At first they were quite shy and unsure especially Mark. With time and one trip to the park, these two came flying out of their shells! Margo is friendly and sweet and shy at first. She likes everyone after a time is provided for her to know she is safe and sound. Mark had a 4DX test which checks for many ailments, including heart worm. The heart worm test came back negative. What did show up is his lack of good food. He was malnourished. The vet recommended a high protein diet, so, he has been on a raw meat diet for several weeks. He is regaining his health and it will continue to take time, patience, and love. They must stay together as they have been with each other their entire lives; Margo is estimated to be 2 or 3. No health issues with Margo. The combined adoption fee is 150 for Mark and 350 for Margo, equalling $500. However, we appreciate people willing to open their hearts and homes to a pair. The fee for both is reduced to $400. They have been with young children. We prefer they go into a home with children over 12, other low or medium energy dogs will be a fine fit, also. Neither of them need long walks, but they really love the outside so we will look for a home with people that will provide them with several walks a week. These walks may be 15 minute walks but these two will so love it!! Applications at karmicrescue.org
