My story

Hi! I’m Moxie! I’m currently staying at Trail of Hope Animal Rescue in Okeechobee. Trail of Hope is the best doggie hotel with the most loving volunteers. I came to TOH as a rescue after I was adopted from Animal Control, but my home was not an ideal match. I am a year and nine months old. I am a typical Aussie in that I love wide open spaces and I love to run. You see, I have been looking for my perfect home for quite some time. I have auditioned a few homes, but I didn't think they were quite right for me. So here is what I am looking for... my wish list, if you will: • Single person, preferably female, but I MIGHT be open to a male. • My new person needs to be kind of lonely, because I want ALL of their time and attention, I get jealous if another dog or person takes up MY time with MY person. • Someone that I need to protect, it's my job, you see. • Someone that will be patient with me and understand that I prefer to be a one-person-dog, I'm very old-fashioned and faithful like that. • Must like walks on the beach and lazy evenings on the couch watching a movie.
