My story

Name: Klaus Breeds: Shepherd Mix Age: Adult Gender: Male Meet Klaus, an 8 year old shepherd mix who has found himself in rescue after his dad left to defend our country. He was in the care of a friend, however that friend can no longer care for him and we don’t want Klaus to end up in a shelter as that will break his heart. Klaus has been loved and it shows, he is a really great dog. He is about 80lbs and has been an indoor dog, so he knows his potty training well, but does love the outdoors for hikes and walks. We don’t know how he is with cats, but he is good with almost every dog. His previous owner did say that occasionally another male dog will irritate him, but it is rare. He is good with humans small and large. He would love to be with someone that will take him for daily walks and just make him a part of their life for the rest of his life. He has a mild skin allergy which he was on daily medication for. We expect some of the environmental allergies to get better here in Minnesota, but he still may need medication to help his itching/scratching. We recommend you schedule a vet visit early on when you adopt him to choose what medications are right for him now that he is in Minnesota! Klaus arrives 12/5 and is looking for someone to commit to loving him forever and taking him the day he arrives. All adoptions have a two week trial. Requirements: Home with yard space Adoption Fee: $425 + tax. This includes neuter/spay, current vaccinations as age appropriate, heartworm/tick testing if appropriate, deworming, microchip, and current preventatives Interested in adopting?
