My story

14 years old. Hi, I'm Jersey! With age, I've come to realize what matters the most in life - a hug. And Ideally one that never ends! I'm basically writing the book on what a lap-cat is all about. I'm very quiet and pleasant, but I can sometimes be pushy when it comes to getting what I want - sitting on your lap for hours. It's why I keep my coat extra soft - to lure you in for more attention and chin rubs! That's why I heavily enjoy avid readers, gamers, and couch potatoes. I have no problem being carried around the home and welcome full-on hugs. I am fond of catnip, but don't bother waving a wand toy in my face - I'm not a kitten! Although I don't care for toys, I am quite adventurous and enjoy finding new hiding spots around the home to curl up in. I'm great at reminding you when the laundry basket is full by knocking it onto the floor and am happy to rearrange the top drawer of your dresser for you. As for my dislikes, I don't care for toys, treats, dogs, or grumpy cats - but I do love spending time with my brother (Mickey) - we're joined at the hip and always in the same room, though we're more like a grumpy old couple. I really do enjoy having him close by all the time. We are looking forward to meeting you soon. Note: Jersey has IBD which occasionally gives her bouts of diarrhea. She requires 1 steroid pill every few days (very affordable and easy to administer) and will be on this for life. She is a picky eater and will only consume one specific type of food (similar cost to a high-quality diet). An appetite stimulant is occasionally required. Jersey and Mickey are participating in our Courtesy Adoption Posting Program and is not the property of Toronto Cat Rescue. Toronto Cat Rescue does not accept responsibility for any pet placements that result from this service. If you need more info or would like to adopt please contact Jordan Rinaldi: 416-986-9767 or jordan.g.rinaldi@gmail.com. Thank you!

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Jersey *declawed*, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
