My story

Hi! My name is Lucky and I am a 6 yr. old beagle that needs to find another place to live. My sister, Millie Bear, and I have been hanging out at a foster home in the Carolinas the past few weeks. Penny Angels is ready for us to come to New Jersey, so we will start to pack our bags and then head North on Saturday, January 23. We will be available for adoption that day with approved applications. I am a bigger beagle boy and weigh approx. 70 lbs. No, that is not a typo. I guess it is no surprise that I am a bit of a couch potato and enjoy sleeping in a chair or on the couch. It would be good for me to lose some weight so that I can start to live a healthier life. Low-calorie food and treats should be on the menu for me. I could use some exercise, too, though I’m not sure how active I will be for you. Let’s just take things one step at a time. Perhaps we could motivate each other in this New Year! My foster mom said that I am a very sweet & gentle boy that loves attention. I get along well with dogs and cats. I haven’t been around kids but would probably be fine with them. I am house-trained and ready to learn new rules in your home. Don’t let my oversized ‘presence’ turn you away from adopting me.
