My story

Bear’s my name and friendly’s my game! I am an 11-month-old, 70 lb. well-mannered Lab mix puppy just aiming to please! My mom was a purebred lab and my dad's background is unknown. However, I act just like a lab. I like people, dogs and am even known to get along with cats. I sleep well in a crate and am also fine to be left alone by myself. I do not chew shoes, clothing or even toys. I take treats gently and walk patiently by my foster’s side. When I meet other dogs, I just like to say Hi. I ride well in the car and have also stayed in a hotel with no problem! I’m not really a barker and I do not counter surf. What can I say, I’m kinda special. I know how to sit and shake. I do have some mild hip dysplasia and am taking a series of shots to help with that. I am almost finished with my first round of Adequan injections and then it is recommended that I receive those shots every six to eight weeks once I am done to help keep me pain free. I also have some allergies, so I take Benadryl as needed. Oh, and one more thing, I do not eat any people food as I have a sensitive tummy. I am eating Hills Science Diet W/D and that agrees with me just fine. If you are interested in this dog, please fill out an application at www.dlrraz.org.
