My story

Shelter Pets Rock! So come on up to Newaygo County Animal Shelter and get your own rock star. Hello you beautiful world - my name is Puck and I'm a 1 year old male Hound/Pit mix. Some important facts about me are: -I'm uber friendly and playful -I like other dogs but a meet-n-greet is always a good idea if there is another dog in the home -I'm not good with cats -I'm very obedient The shelter has a policy, because of the mix of my breed, that if there are kids in the home they need to be 12 and over. I don't make the rules, I just follow them. So call my booking agent at 231-689-1867 today! Shelter pets rock is our motto! All dogs available for adoption are spayed or neutered, receive a DHLPP, deworming, are heartworm tested, given a rabies shot, flea and tick treatment and a dog license. All of this for an adoption fee of $90 - that is less than a Benjamin! Open adoption hours are weekly 11-1 Monday-Friday but after hours appointments can be made if you would like to meet a dog and can't make it during regular office hours.
