My story

Please note that we are a TX based rescue that transports our dogs once they have been adopted. All of our dogs are located in foster homes is TX. Our application can be found at haydudeequine.org As they say down under "Goo'Day, Mate!" Or perhaps I should be saying "Guten Tag" from my German side of the family ? I am a gorgeous blending of the pride of Germany, the German Shepard, and the working dog from Australia, the Australian Cattle Dog. With working genetics on both sides of my breeding, you can just imagine that I am one human oriented, smart pup!! At only 12 months young, I am still just a pupper with lots of learning to do ahead of me!! I need a person/couple/or family to help me become my best self. Only because of my boisterous personality, I would be best in a home with older children and adults. I gots my social skills from my Shepard breeding, and I LOVE hoomans!! My favorite thing is to hang out with my person (people)......oh, wait, maybe my favorite thing is playing catch? Or maybe, my favorite thing is going hiking? Can I have more than one favorite thing? I will have to ask Foster Mum and let you know!!! I also love going for car rides and will ride "shot gun" around the ranch in the front seat of the truck!!! I will play fetch and catch for as long as you will throw the ball or toy!! I am very playful, athletic, and energetic and would do great in agility or obedience training!! And, did I mention gorgeous...come on!!! Because of my high energy level, I will be happiest in a home with a large backyard or access to a lot of hiking and running trails. I will make an excellent running partner!! I am particular about my dog friends, but do well with most dogs after a proper introduction. Most probably, I will do best if I can get all of your attention in an only dog home. So, fill out an application and adopt me today!! "Good on ya'" and "Danke"
